Haiti Mission is in the Planning Stages

Rev Daniel Paul is a classmate of our Pastor. He has an orphanage and a school that he started after graduating from Concordia Theologial Seminary in Fort Wayne Indiana. Pastor Paul is in Port au Prince. It is also Grace Lutherans intent to send a mission team early next year in order to support his ministry and orphanage. In the next Council Meetings will be discussing using part of our tithes to go to support the Orphanage in Haiti.  Also Grace Lutheran is planning to send a team from the church to Haiti in February 2011.

Pastor says "I hope that all of you will hear how God's work is being accomplished in this country where witchcraft and voodoo is prominent. It is my hope that Grace will partner with Lamb of God in Snohomish and Faith Lutheran in La Grande Oregon, to support this ministry with our tithes and talent.  See you in church."

The People of Haiti Need Our Help

Grace Lutheran Church has been working with Nori est Haiti La Maison des Agneaux de Dieu Orphelina (MADO) for a few years.  It is an orphanage and school run by Pastor Daniel Paul.  They currently take care of more than 150 orphans. More are now expected because of the recent disaster. To find out more about this, please check out www.nehlm.com.
